Mohamed Salah Issues Apology to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that Salah expressed regret to the group of players following the controversy from his televised remarks.

He was omitted from a key Champions League match following criticising the club and stating his connection to the head coach had soured.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has refused to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.
Team Unity
He emphasized that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “He was his usual self, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
Jones also implied that a competitor wanting to play is a positive trait. “It's clear there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just not start, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Team Form
Their results have remained strong in the period after the initial controversy. He feels the outburst were not intended to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re gelling well as a team, performing and on a positive run.”
