Comedian and actress Amy Schumer has revealed that she and her husband, chef Chris Fischer are divorcing after seven years of marriage.
The actress shared in an Instagram post on recently, paired with an image of them riding public transit, that they had made the "challenging resolution" to part ways and will continue to focus on parenting their young child.
"Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever," she expressed.
Schumer, 44, and Fischer, 45, tied the knot in February 2018 and welcomed their son the following year.

Schumer also joked in the online announcement that the split is unrelated to her shedding pounds and not prompted by Fischer's status as an "decorated cook who can still attract attention".
Fischer won the prestigious James Beard award in the U.S. Culinary category for his culinary guide published in 2015.

They were featured together on the culinary television program Amy Schumer's Cooking Lessons, which ran during lockdowns.
The duo also appeared during a documentary series Preparing for Parenthood with Amy that followed Schumer, who has been candid concerning having endometriosis, during her challenging gestation.
